Welcome back to my blog! I guess part one had you baffled and wanting to read more about my life and all through it all I keep perspective and stayed focused. It may seem to you that I might have it all together, but by keeping perspective I feel lie I have it all only at the age of 20.
Here are the last three tips and my personal experience to help you find your way in this walk we call life. You may not be going through the exact things as I did, but we all have one similarity.
Tip #9. The Best tap into a
greater power than themselves
The Best tap into a greater power than themselves. I don’t know how I do it sometimes but no matter how I feel I still get up every morning and get things done to put myself in a better spot then I was yesterday. I look at myself sometimes and ask myself “How did I do all that?”, sometimes it feels like it’s not enough hours in the day and I’m struggling to get by. It always seems to work itself out, and I do what people once told me I couldn’t. Even when I’m out there playing golf I find a greater power because I have a plate in my hand and it hurts sometimes to hit the ball so bad that I shed a tear from time to time. I dig deep within me block out the pain and contributed to my team as much as possible giving them everything I have plus more. I am a Women of faith and I believe in the impossible. A scripture I live by is: Romans 5:8 “But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.” I paraphrased that scripture and had it tattooed on my back because I carry that word with me all through my life. It reads: “I Love You At Your Darkest.”, and it simply means that no matter my flaws and trails he loves me regardless of my failures. I Never sike myself out of any situation that is put in front of me. Being a person of faith I believe in a higher power and I believe that he gives me that greater power.
Tip #11. The Best make everyone around them better.
The Best make everyone around them better. As co- captain of the golf team what I set out to do with my team is challenge my teammates. In workouts I try to push the pace at workouts by doing heavy weights than the person next to me trying to light a fire within them. I believe in helping people even when they have never helped me because at the end of the day it’s helping them succeed. Being a person who challenges people in a positive way, I try and throw things at them that they never think they could do. They will never know what they are capable of until we are pushed to new heights. I don’t expected things from other people that I don’t expect from myself. I believe you should practice what you preach. A belief of mine is that when people see how things are done right they do it right the next time. Your only as good as the people around and if don’t make them better I’m not making myself better.
So the next time you see someone down help uplift them because I promise that can go a long way for someone. If someone helped you reach your best potential then spread the wealth and help someone discover there’s. Who are you to be “THE BEST” all on your own?
